Impressions on Portable GPS Mio C520

My wife recently gave me a Mio C520 portable GPS for my frequent out of state trips since my humble E53 did not come with a NAV system unlike her E70. After using it in my last trip from Virginia to SC, I can honestly say that this is a good GPS Device for the money. It has a 4.3 bright screen with vibrant resolution, it has text to speech option, a fairly good bluetooth system, 6 million POIs, super slim profile, 6.3 ounces, plays MP3 and videos, all for $300 shipped. I haven't owned this long enough to determine durability and after sales customer support, but so far I'm quite impressed.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. How about location accuracy?

I picked up a Mio 520 a couple months back for use on a 4900 mile 2 week road trip all around the Northeast USA. We got back from it recently and this unit was totally awesome! I used the ability to save custom points of interest to save in there before the trip all the interesting spots and waypoints we wanted to drive by, and sorted them into folders based on each planned day of the trip. Then the unit routed us along all of them - allowing us to see more sights on this extreme roadtrip than we could have done otherwise.

Alpac,
Accuracy is very good. I'm very impressed considering the price. Excellent resolution as well.

Also very light and as what JayjayX5 said the thin profile of less than 1 inch is a bonus. Its kinda like having a mini flat screen in the car.

I agree
Its amazing how this device can locate even new golf courses in the area as part of its 6 million POIs. The bluetooth and video converter software is also cool.
