Phone Red LED light always ON when no phone is pairing.
About few months ago, the red led light on the upper right of the GPS screen started to be on all the time. I was busy and until last week I finally took the X in for 30K mantainance and also mention the problem the adivor.
It turns out it is because my phone is not connected to the bluetooth unit. Now, if I have the phone connected then the red LED light will be off. However if I don't have the PHONE, then the RED LED always on. Few months back it wasn't like that. The advisor say it is due to my BMW assist is expired. Is this true? or just BS? BTW, my one is late 2004 4.4 if that matters. Thanks.
