what do these code readings mean please
i did a scan on my 2001 4.4 e53 with my creator c310 scanning tool and these codes came up: 1b multiplication. mixture adaptation bank 2 control limit reached. and 8c activation map cooling. what do they mean and how do fix them please. thanks Last edited by bongo; 02-06-2016 at 06:04 AM. Perhaps if you scan it with a generic scanner so that you can post P codes we can tell you what the problem is. Doesn't you scanner tells you what is causing the code?

i have googled them, after posting it. and it says that the map cooling one is the thermostat sensor.
and the other one could be a leak in air intake or vaccum pipe. i will check these out in the next few days |
