It still boils down to what KIND of driving you are doing - My Diamaris are nearing the wear nubs at ~30K miles. I'll most likely replace them when I get back to Idaho when they will have ~35K miles on them. The vast majority of my driving is interstate, so Diamaris perfectly fit my driving long distances at high speeds. If I were doing daily commuter driving, I'd probably want a softer ride with long lasting wear (and 4 identical tires all around). The Diamari is also a dry pavement tire, so if I lived in the rainy NW, I probably would look for a good wet pavement tire. Buying a "cool" tire is a waste of $ if it does not match your driving. Remember safety first and Rule #1, "Nobody gets hurt."

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
My stock 18 inch tires have load of rubber left after 34,000 miles.
They handle well and ride ok.

Can someone post a pic of what exactly the "wear nubs" are? Where would I find them on my Michelin Energy MXVs?
