Have you tried to remove the whole regulator. This would be nessary because there is a cable that controls the up and down motion of the window and until it is removed the window will not go up or down.

Thanks for the reply, i tried but coundt get it, although i was finally able to move the window up by holding the switch and pushing the window up with some force. I will then bring it back down to detach the window and replace the regulator.
Thanks

grrrr another update. i was going to change the regualtor today, but the window is now stuck in the up position, nothing happens when i push the switch, i just hear a click. I have no idea how im going to be able to get the window down to unscrew the clips. I tried pushing it down manually and no luck.

If you can get to the motor for the window in the door, there are three hex screws that hold it in place. If you can unscrew these screws, then pull out on the motor the window will release and you will be able to lower the window.

You can't get to the motor hex screws with the regulator still in the door, the metal of the door blocks everything.

Try to push the window down while holding the down button. This may allow you to access the point you need.

Well i went to the stealer today and booked an appt for next week, but they want $150 to install it and i already removed the door panel, removed the sound tar, and unscrewed everything.
I will work more on it this weekend and see if i can fix it b4 my appt. I was thinking could i cut the cable between the 2 metal bars and maybe even dremel the bar in half to get it out? |

If you cut the cable, it should allow the window to move free. That would be the first step that I would take. Make sure you cut it on both sides, because it could be jammed on either side. Let me know how it turns out.
