Tension Strut & control arms
hey everyone,
replaced my lower control arms with ball join and the tension strut today. Now my steering wheel is not aligned. Also my mechanic told me I don't need a wheel alignment but it feels like it does. He told be to let the replacement parts settle in for a couple of days and see what it's like then. it also feels like it's driving worse than what it was with the worn parts in it. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. thanks Last edited by Naz; 11-02-2007 at 03:55 AM. |

make sure the the nuts and bolts are toruqed down correctly with a torque wrench so everything is "centered". the tension struts front bolts are supposed to be torqued at static ride height.
maybe your last wheel alignment was done with worn suspension parts so now you're off centered. |
