PDC and reverse mirror

My 01 X5 3.0 passenger mirror folded down when I went in reverse. My 01 4.4 does not. The 4.4 has PDC. My neighbors 05 X5 4.4 has PDC and it also does not fold down in reverse.

On mine 2000 4.4 the right mirror folds down only when the mirror ajustment button (the one on the driver door) is positioned to the left.

The mirror adjustment must be in driver's position for the passenger's mirror to tilt down. It's in the manual.

Just kidding. always wanted to use that one. Above statements are correct....button to the left gives you tilt down mirror.
