Angry Third Window regulator within 2 1/2 years!!

Today the driver side front window regulator died on me for the second time within 2 1/2 years. That will also be my third window regulator replacement on this car within that same period of time. This is in addition to 2 window regulators replaced also on my 3 serie in the last 2 years. Why BMW has never been able to fix this weakness is over me!! I never had any problem with electric windows in any car I have own since I started driving many many years ago. I had to wait and own BMWs to have deal with this problem.
It will be fixed under warranty but still a pain in the neck.

They use plastic guides, this is because they try to lessen the weight on some parts of the car. A lot of car makers go this route, cheaper and they try to use plastic to keep weight low... Stupid idea, they just don't make them like they used to...

Hey...since you had plenty of practice at swapping those things out, you can start a side business just doing BMW window regulators
