Anyone looking for a retactable load floor?

Anyone out there looking for a retactable load floor?

I have a 2004, with black interior, and I'm considering taking out my retactable load floor and installing the standard floor. If someone else is looking to install the retactable floor, maybe we could trade components.

The retactable floor is a $380 upgrade, but I would consider an even trade if you don't mind covering the shipping. (I'm in SoCal if anyone wants to make the trade in person).

Anyone?

PS - My load floor is "as new" and I would be looking for a standard floor in the same condition. Thanks!

Hey Mfiver,
Might be interested. Any ideas what might be involved in the install? Any chance of some picts of yours both slid out and closed?? Where abouts in SoCal do you live (I live here as well)? Just curious, why do you want to replace it?
Don

Hey Donneyboy,

From what I can see, the installation looks like a straight bolt in job.

The only reason I am seller is to get another 1.5 inches on headroom for my dog. He's still growing and it's a little tight for him back there (he only rode in the X5 once and I had a cargo mat down, so no worries about dog hair) If I wasn't planning on putting my dog back there I would keep it for sure, I think it's an awesome feature!

I'll try and take some pics later.

PS - I'm in Santa Barbara, just down the road. I'll be home all day installing a trailer hitch if you want to come by and take a look. If you like what you see, we can do the trade/install on the spot.

I would trade, but I'm in KY. I have 2 X-5s. One has the sliding floor and one doesn't. I like the sliding floor much better.

I also have a sliding floor to trade (Tan)

I have a Tan retractable/sliding load floor that I would like to trade for a standard floor. If anyone is interested, let me know.

David if only you were closer to NJ...

I'd swap with you (I have a beige interior too), but I'm not sure whats involved in installing the retractable floor.
