Before you shoot me...

OK, so some of you probably realize I cant make my mind up on anything now..

With that being said, I looked in my driveway today, and thought, Man, if I could take the seating capacity of my Odyssey, and the sportyness of my X, and put them together, that would be great!! And then I thought, where can I get that?!

Well, the CEO and I like SUV's, but would also like to seat 7 since we travel a lot with family...You know where Im going with this...

Who can give me the skinny on these LR3's?! There is one sitting out here on the lot for 37,500. Is it worth it?! Im not a speed guy(drive like a snail) and I dont do any off roading...So far, I have heard the mpg sucks, but the website has it listed at almost the same as the X...What r the other pros and cons?!

BMW has the V5 coming in 2008 which is a combination of minivan and SUV. But for now you should try Acura MDX. I have heard good things about it and have also driven it and looks good too. Or you can also try the new Audi Q7. That seats 7 too.

Infinity QX56 is damn good. The Audi is probably going to be the sportiest, but considering that its going to be the first model year of its existence, you can expect glitches like no other.

How about this? has anyone heard anything new about it? I thought it was canceled but heard a rumor that it's back on.

2005 BMW X7 : Ultra-luxury SUV in spirit of the X5, the X7 draws features and powertrains from its 7 Series mates. Expansion at Spartanburg may permit assembly of this full-size SUV, which is still under review.

Where did you read? Would like to know more. That pic is an old photochop. The only ones on horizon, I heard are X6 and V5. The new X5, coming next year is supposed to be longer and have an option of third row seats.

Is it just me, or is the idea of third-row seats in a BMW quite disturbing?

NO,NO,NO - I say get rid of the back seats and make it a 2dr - a TRUE sports activity vehicle - who thinks of passengers when looking for performance??? - more weight will subtract from performance and mileage - while a bit less weight could only add - less? or more? - I'm for more performance - besides, you drive alot more safely and carefull with passengers ( or at least you should! ) - I've got my van to haul people - it's smooth and comfortable and feels better than my Lazyboy - but my X5 is for me - the difference is like comparing taking a cat shot off a carrier or flying commercial - me, I want the cat shot ( which I have both figuratively and literally )

Volvo XC90 (V8 for the extra pace). Seats 7, quite luxurious and comfortable. Safe, looks OK however it is a very uninspiring drive (compared to the X5) but is no worse than say the Honda, Toyota etc.
