my emails to umnitza said they would be coming out with a LED taillight soon for the E53 - I'll wait for them, to see if the USA wiring is more compatible

Umnitza should be the same lights only with resisters to prevent "bulb out" message.

Now they're like $170 on ebay! LOL. They're alright, maybe I might get a set. I think just the blinker in LED amber is good enough. It gives a nice clean blink.
