I have no idea if it's related, but last Wednesday I used the HDC going down a hill in the snow. X5 drove fine the rest of the way and on Thursday. It then sat still Friday morning through Sunday night. When I started driving it again, and pressed the brakes, it felt like I was on ice or something because the brakes felt like they were pumping. The DSC (triangle with !), ABS, and BRAKE lights all came on. The BRAKE light would flash from orange to red. Then, the brakes started working fine the rest of my drive home.
For the past few days, every time it's been sitting for several hours, the brakes act goofy when I first start driving, sometimes the same lights come on, sometimes they don't. This morning was the worst. I started to drive, the lights came on when I applied the brakes and they barely stopped the X. I started to accelerate and it wouldn't go anywhere. It was like the brakes were stuck. I managed to get it going, then they were fine after that. I'm going to call my SA this afternoon and try to get in tomorrow morning. Anyone know what's going on? Has this happened to anyone else? (No "try searching" replies *cough*barry*cough*).
