I appreciate your desire to be different and all that, it's just that personally I'd have coated the license plate bulbs with black paint rather than making them ultra bright. As far as driving slow is concerned, if I wanted to go slow I would have bought an Anus, oops, sorry, Prius.

haha.. ok dont get me wrong i bought the 4.4i instead of the 3.0 for the v8. But at sametime i dont get too many chances to open her up since my kid is in the car, he's only 3month old, and he was the reason my i sold the e36 for the x5.

Gotcha. Amen to your little one, congratulations (3 months belatedly) and drive carefully as possible. I don't mean to stick my nose in your business, but here is some free advice. 1. If you have rear door side airbags make sure they are DEACTIVATED. BMW will cover the costs to do this and it unfortunately involves more than a simple re-code. 2. Buy the best car seat on the market regardless of price. The Britax Boulevard is outstanding and fits the X5 beautifully. Solid as a rock. 3. A baby rear view mirror is a great thing to have for convenience. 4. If you care about your leather seats you should get a special pad to put in between the carseat and the seat itself. Let me know if you need advice on it.

Lastly, since it just occured to me, if you ever plan on installing a rear view camera the brighter LED lights will probably help with the illumination for the camera. E70 owners seem to be constantly complaining about poor visibility with the camera at night, maybe this is an easy fix for them.?
