Sprung a leak

I just picked up our X5 last week sunday and already have run into 2 problems. Coolant tank sprung a leak but was changed under warranty. Now I got another leak, this time it's in the cabin. Just finished washing the car and noticed that the front passenger floor closest to the kick panel is wet. Any ideas where the leak may be coming from? Door seal? Plugged sunroof drain?
Appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.

Sounds like the AC drain line - may have become disconnected or not routed properly in the first place. I'd ask the dealer to check that out as well. - Just a guess...

Well, it is Saturday night. Most folks are probably out and about, which would explain the slow response time.

Honestly, though, I think that's a new one. I don't remember hearing about this problem before. What X5Jay said makes sense though. I mean, if it were a door seal, wouldn't the seat be wet also?

Hang in there, Lawaia. Someone will surely respond with an educated response soon. Keep us updated, though. Did you call the dealer yet?

Juan

Car is at the dealer as we speak and they're trying to locate the source of the leak. So far they have had no luck.

Mine leaks a little on the drivers side passenger door when it goes through a high pressure car wash, its not terrible and does not do it during regular driving I think the rubber gets compressed by the jets just enough to let some on the rear seat.

No idea on the foot well problem though unless one of the seals on the firewall is not installed properly or is missing.

years ago, i had a similar problem w/ my VW GTI's. after a rain storm, behind both passenger seats, the floor would be wet. took it to a sho and they could not find anything wrong. so, home i went. i started poking around and found that the sunroof drain tube running down the passenger side was pinched between the door and the body of the car. when i re-routed the drain tube, no more puddles.
