Final update on this...

Picked up the X on saturday morning, and have been looking for excuses to take it out.... Wife is wondering why I am so anxious to run errands!

well 174 miles in 2 days, I have to say it's a joy!

In closing I'll say this, I bought the X through Mercedes Benz of Colorado Springs, (Norm was the salesman) and after some negoation and discussion about not pulling services the price came down even further. It happened that we were looking at an ML for the wife, but was just out of our budget. ( yea we set a budget) And in drives this couple from N.M. in the X we are now driving, got to talk for a second with the original owners, found out the fleas, and got to look at the undercarrage.

After a quick talk to the manager (Pat) I explained that I'd pull all the services if he takes care of the safety stuff (which he is mandated too)

Knocked another 1500 off the price, and drove out with an 02 X for $14,500.

Although I am a noob to this Website, I am already gratefull for the help of those who have contribuited.

Thanks for the great info!

Rob
