I contacted my local Dinan guy, and he e-mailed me back. He said they'll be talking with Dinan Technical to figure out what the problem might be.

My gut feeling is that it's a tranny software issue. They upgraded to Stage 3 engine software for the mods, but there's no matching tranny software for the 04-06 X5s, only up to 2003.

But why the jerking only happens on a steering speed-up, and not on a straight-way acceleration....that I can't figure out.

I've noticed a similar feeling when I'm hard on the brakes and then take off again, the car wants to start in 2nd, but even with minimal throttle slams it into first
