Mk 4 Navigation fit
Have just purchased a Mk4 GP sys with GPS antenna. I have a 2006 X53, that has the TV, ventiliation, etc, but did not have navigation. Now my question is are the vehicles pre wired for Sat Nav or do i have to fit a new loom? I have read many threads on this but its unclear to me as they all talk about installing the navigation screen as well, which mine already has! Advice would be greatly appreciated. |

Left hand side of the boot/trunk. Open the flap and look behind the racking system. You may need to look deep in the bottom and the connector may well be zip tied or taped up to prevent rattling.
If you have the appropriate connector in place then I'd say you were wired and ready to go as you indicate you already have the other end wired up.
