as for 'imitating' emergency vehicles....it's an X5 for crynig out loud with xenons..i doubt anyone would pull over...and not to mention that it is a federal offense....i'm sure u have heard of 'off road use only' ...
Here in the UK, Mainly the Manchester area the poice have a few X5 motorway vehicles. Look very nice too, when I drive past them you seem to get a little respect (being in the same vehicle, less the roof mounted lights of course).. In fact now that I think about it there was a documentary on recently featuring the Manchester police and they commented on how they liked to drive the X5 when theyre on duty.
