Visor Lights?

OK,

On Saturday, I noticed there are lights over the visors... but I can find no way to turn them on.

Anyone know how?

With the car running (or key switched on), flip the visor down, then open the cover for the mirror and the light will come on. If not, try the passenger side - maybe your bulb is out. I hope this works for you!

Thanks,

But I tried that, both sides, no soap.

As you slide the mirror covers open, you should be able to hear the microswitches (switch power on to the bulb) opening and closing. If these are working, and you don't have a blown fuse, then you should check the bulbs. Failing this, it could be a bad earth or something else is interrupting the power supply.
Colin.

Yep, they both work.

The only difference I can think of between now and the last time I tried the lights was that it was daytime then, and it is night now.

It isn't related to ambient light, but it could have been a bad contact on either the microswitch (sliding cover) or visor mount (when it rotates down), likely from not having been used for some time. My money would be on the swing-down visor swivel, is it is a sliding contact instead of a microswitch.
