Question What Mods Can You Recommend For My X5?

How's It Going Gentleman And Ladies If There Are Any, As You Can See I'm Very New At This And I Just Purchased My X5. It Is An Imola Red 4.8is With Black Nappa Leather Interior, I Had The Aero Kit And Underride Guard Installed Before I Even Picked Up The Vehicle, It Has All 3 Or 4 Additional Options That The 4.8 Had ( Except For The Rear Side Airbags I Believe It Is ). I Am Also Having An Entertainment System Installed On The Headrests This Week, As Well As, The Auxiliary Input And Auxiliary Power. Furthermore With The Help Of Your Posts I Installed The Aluminum Pedals, The Titanium Mirrors, And The Titanium Rear Door/hatch Handle Today.
I'm Thinking Of Doing Some More And I Would Like Your Opinions, Based On Your Expertise As To What Else I Can Mod, Especially Since It Seems Like Most Of The Mods That U Guys Have R On Different Year Models. If You Can Please Give Me Your Recommendations And Point Me In The Right Direction As Where I Can Purchase The Items You Recommend. It Will Be Greatly Appreciated. Thanks To All In Advance.

the pcm tuning should enable you to gain some more power.
THe resonator will increase the sound of the exhaust. It will be more aggressive. There is a clip of another 4.8 with the resonator removed, somehere.

no idea about warranty, but I would bet it would void it if found (pcm tuning). Unless, maybe, it was a Dinan software.

http://www.kellenersusa.com/index.php
and Dinan

The tuning changes the fuel map curves, leans out a lil bit, gives a lil more timing, changes shift points and probably line pressure for firmer shifts. Also, it takes off the speed limiter.

Basically, the pcm changes tunes the pcm more towards performance and less towards fuel economy.

I noticed you said you do not want to void warranty. If this is true you only have one option to modify your X5. It is DINAN. There website is
WWW.DINANBMW.COM. They are the only aftermarket company that will not void factory warranty. And the dinan parts and sold and installed at BMW dealerships. I have the Dinan exhaust and love it. I am getting the throttle body next. Those 2 are good for 16hp. Be careful with removing the resonater you may looe bottom end power . I was going to do it then changed my mind because i did not want to lose performance. Also Dinan is coming out with a coldair intake and mass flow sensor very soon along with Engine and transmission software for the computer.
If you want it to handle better get the Dinan Camber plates and strut bar. It is an incredible difference in handling.
Be careful of lowering your ride hieght using the air suspension computer because it will definately void waranty.

Also i would definately get the front clear lights. That is what your X5 needs next.

Also get the dvd player tv tuner and rear view camera. I am getting this very soon. Get it from modweekend.com that is where i am getting it they are right in newyork

By the way i love the way the aero kit looks on you 4.8 it looks awesome.

If you have anymore questions feel free to PM me.
Thanks

THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION. ACTUALLY I AM GETTING THE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM INSTALLED IN THE HEADRESTS TOMORROW AND I WAS ABOUT TO ORDER THE TV-ON-NAV AND THE REAR CAMERA, BUT NOW I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION, WHICH IS THE BEST OPTION FOR TELEVISION ON NAVIGATION?
AS FAR AS THE CLEAR LIGHTS I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GET THEM I WOULD PREFER THEY WERE ORIGINALS FROM EUROPE BUT THAT'S LOOKING TOUGH, MAYBE YOU KNOW ABOUT A PLACE ICAN GET THEM AT.
ALSO, I LIKE THE DINAN PARTS BUT THAT'S ONE THING THAT PROBABLY WON'T FLY WITH THE WIFE, THANX ANYWAY.
