2nd Gear Shuttering
I have searched the forum and have not found anything specific about the problem that I am seeing. I have a 2001 X5 4.4i with 109000 miles on it. Over the last several months, second gear has started to shutter (I am guessing that it is second gear). I does not do it all the time, just some times. I can get past it by pressing the gas pedal harder and it goes to the next gear. It seems to be happening more frequently. I have never changed the fluid in the trans. Does anyone know what the issue could be without just saying that I need a new one.
