Thinking there is a problem with my Dice Ipod Kit, I continue to drive along figuring I will fix it after work. I then try to change stations with no luck and the radio turns off again. I happen to press the brake and the power button together at one point and the radios turns back on, but I can only make changes to the stations and mode when I press the brake, but still no Ipod. Also, the turn signals indicator does not always turn on and can sometimes be used if I press the brake before and after I engage and disengage the signal. This has basically been the continuous scenario the whole week Does anyone have any idea what could be causing these issues? 2002 3.0i stock radio,w/ single cd player, no amp, |

Sounds like a definite electrical problem...I'd get a diagnostic done asap...turn signal is kind of important. Plus there may be other things you are not aware of that might be turning off or disengaging also..

Radio: Might just need to be disconnected and reconnected. That worked for my unit. I popped the radio out of the dash and pulled the plug on it.
Turn Signal: That could be as easy as needing a new control stalk or as bad as needing a new LKM. When my LKM went turn signals were among the lighting issues that would show up. The error codes for the LKM are stored in the dash memory module. Some dealers don't know that.

DUDE, same thing happened to me and I also have a DICE unit, on 02 x5 3.0.
Hope my solution works for you... Worked for me. 1) Disconnect the battery. 2) While battery is disconnected, disconnect DICE from the trunk (CD Changer connection). 3) wait about 30 mins to 1 hour... I had lunch, this may not be needed, but I'm telling you exactly what I did. 4) reconnect batt. 5) start car, turn on radio and check turn signals (should be working) 6) turn off radio 7) turn off car and remove keys 8) reconnect DICE unit at rear of vehicle (CD Changer connection) 9) start car, turn on radio and hit "mode" until 01-01 (DICE) is displayed Hope this helps and best of luck. |

I just had the same problem, the only thing I did was to take magazine out the cd changer, start the car again and everything was fine!!!
