Hello, I've been debating on using this stuff for quite some time now... Have any of you guys done this to your X5? If so, do you have a DIY??

yep... Ive used it in my japanese cars but never on my german ones...

great for clearing out the egr as it is fed through your vacuum lines. However be forewarned that the process may foul up your plugs as the accumulated does get forced into another region of your engine and burned up leaving its own reside.

If your car is running properly, I wouldn't even think about using this stuff, except maybe in your fuel tank, however the one time my friend used it in his tank noticed terrible performance afterwards, as he believed it cleaned out his tank and plugged his fuel filter.

I doubt you have much carbon on your pistons, and if you change your oil regularly there shouldn't be any slug or much varnish in the crankcase anyway. I used to believe in this kind of stuff, but every time I've used similar snake oil I've not had much luck, so I'd save your money, but that's my two cents.

This stuff is very very bad for any seals. Don't use it.

I wouldn't let it anywhere near my vehicle, unless I was working on something like a '63 Valiant that had been parked for years. Nothing against Valiants, it would probably be equally good on a Studebaker that had been parked for years and only run on bad gas.
