OK, I understand the concern with the snow... but with this vehicle, I really am having issues with my door handles freezing up in the cold...

I'm on my 3rd X5 and I've never had my door handles freeze up. WI is much different than NY/NJ though.

Common problem on the E53. Used to happen on mine all the time. Never happened on E70 yet - even as low as -9C (15F)

Take the time to clear the snow from the roof before you head out.

We have accidents all the time here where people are too lazy and the chunks of snow coming off create hazards for those traveling behind. I'll admit the 18-wheelers are the worst because its usually slabs of ice falling, but cars are guilty of it too. CT troopers are writing tickets for the snow too.

In NJ its illegal to drive with ice on your car roof.
