Were there supposed to be pics in your post? Your insurance should cover. Did you take any pics? Call your insurance.

Before you file it on your insurance, make a claim to the state.

Many states will repair you vehicle when it gets damaged by garbage on the road.

But make report to the cops - and talk to your ins co in case the state rejects your claim.

Whoa! hold on 1 minute! A piece of an airplane? How in the world did that get there? Which part of the plane? Sorry to hear about your predicament.

I know how this feels. I lived in a high construction area. I got screwed twice in my 350Z. One time i drove over a .25" drill bit which popped my tire instantly - that was $300 down the toilet. I still have the drill bit

Another time I was driving home, they had shutdown one street quite a ways for construction. I got so frustrated after the 5th or 6th time turning around that I didn't realize I was all of the sudden driving un a new un-opened piece of road. I took off like a bat out of hell and it was too late before i was inbetween two curbed pieces of road with 3 dollies in the middle and dirt road after it. It was either rage the hell out of my rims on the curb-check and risk suspension damage or take on the dollies. So i bounced these things off the front of my car. Cracked my bumper and one put a massive dent in the hood. When i stopped again to survey the damage I realized that it had also sheared the top plastic part of my door frame off as well. This cost me over $1K. It was mostly my fault but there were no signs either. Go figure.

mod guard is prob reasonably simple to install i would imagine. As for bumper you might have to pay the piper.
