JayX5 - I wold not use 3m tape. I did initially and the heat of the lamp loosened it off in days. I ended up using high temp transluscent silicone sealer (a few £'s for a 400ml tube off Ebay) . After a year it's been perfect and does not yellow or a discolour as many of the epoxy type adhesives do
