2002 4.4 unable to get BMW to display on screen

Hi,

I've bought a 2002 4.4 E53 X5 everything appears to be working ok... I just can't get it to display "BMW" when you turn the ignition. It does however display time, date and day across the bottom of the screen. Does it require a firmware upgrade or somthing else? Thanks for any feeddback.

What version of the OS are you currently running? See http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/all-...ystem-faq.html if you are not sure how to determine this.

More then likely updating your OS will resolve this for you.
