Thanks.. I love the car. Absolutely a blast to drive. If I had it my way I wouldn't sell it... just doesn't make sense to keep though.

I hate to go against what most people think about this topic, but I have to think you can get more than 25k for that ride. Up here in the NW, the 4.6's sell for 28 - 29 with more mileage and not as nice as yours. If you can afford to hold tight, I would think someone would take that off your hands for 28.

Agree with kevnmurphy

Yeah, while I'm not familiar with the Southern Cal market, I just paid over 32K for an 02. It was a bit unusual, given that it only had 23K miles and CPO coverage until August of 08. Even if I put away my obvious bias as a current owner, 25K still sounds like a giveaway.

Gee, it depends what options it has but with a little patience it should sell for low private party (from kbb) - I see you live in CA so would think closer to
30k.

I just don't want it to sit on the market for a long time. I love my 2002 BMW X5 4.6is but with the gas prices and 3 SUVs it's too much. I just did a new cv boot and coolant reservoir and that's all it needed... it's tip top. Keep me in mind.

The first person who test drove it bought it! Thanks for the input, guys. Any recommendations for a high mpg daily driver?

Thanks!

That was fast! I guess you accomplished your goal of a quick sale.

Maybe a 335 as a dd

Honda Civic Hybrid

We have a 2002 X5 3.0i that my wife drives .......... very little on a daily basis as she works close to home. I'm thinking to wait on this gas increase to trade it in for a 4.8is .............. so this gas hike may work for me !!!
