Does anyone know if an '04-'06 hood will fit on an '01 without having to do any other mods?

answer is a big NO. To fit the hood, you will need the following:

- New Fenders
- New Headlights
- New kidney Grille
- New Bumper

or you can do a facelift conversion and cost about 5K, a member here has done it.

NICE! For that I might as well just trade my '01 for an '04!
I just like the way the grills look on an '04. I figured that the dimensions were the same up until the grills!

oh...well, in that case, why don't you just get an E70! That way, you will get the most current body style.
