I had a similar issue in my e53 but car was totaled before I got a chance to fix it.
The problem is a near break in the resistive element giving a high resistance spot. If you can jumper that spot you'll change it from a hot spot to a cold spot but I'm not sure the brat way to do that. Conductive epoxy? Crimp connector? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
