Which one should i get???

Hi im still looking at X5 i have decided to get a 2000/2001/2002 x5 4.4 but my question is.

I will be putting 22" wheels on it when i get it so would it be better to get the SE because of the softer suspension as the ride on 22's will be hard ?or get the sport with the 22's and see what the rides like after??

What you guys think??

Personally though think the sport seats are loads better so thats pushing my to get a sport.

Find one with comfort seats and you will forget all about the sport seats.

Get the sports seats. I've done a bunch of 600+ mile day trips with them :p

I did a CT-Chicago trip recently and sports seats are great...very less fatigue. The seat extender and side supports helps in long drive.

I like the sport seats. Before you lock in on them...make sure you try the comfort seats. They are very adjustable and not quite a firm as the sport seats. You can tell the comfort seats by the head rests. The leading edge of the head rest lips down over the seat kind of like the back seat head rest. Again...they are extrememly comfortable during long drives. I would not own another X5 without them.

Hey guys went down the wrong track i was after advice about fitting 22's to the X5 if they ride better on the sport or the SE?

I have sat in the comfort seats and where not impressed by them i like seats to grip me the one im looking at is a 2000 x 4.4v8 sport with beige leather with silver trim. picture too big to attach but looks good!

Still not totally commited to an X5 its a big change in car for me i have always had sports cars but like the idea of a big cruiser!

Thanks again

If your roads are flat and pothole free, you could probably get away with 22s. Just be careful in heavy rain and forget snow. You want show or performance? Imho, the only thing you give up vs your sports cars is riding low to the ground. And don't think because it has a higher center of gravity that it will sway or lean in the turns. Oh contrare (sp?) Have taken my 2001 SP on curvy interstates with posted 55mph at 90+ without hint of sway or lean. And that's before the Dinan S2 upgrade going on at the dealer right now. Try to get a test drive and 'air' it out. I don't think you will be disappointed.
