Weird noise from front end

Today I was pulling through the McDonald's drive through and at the curve the car made noise when steering wheel turns. I had the car and park then turn the wheel and noise still can be heard, I also had it in N and turn the wheel left and right, it makes a noise every time I turn the wheel to opposition direction. Sound like clicking noise, I thought it may come from the steering motor? Anyone here experience such thing?

Does it happen left and Right? does it get louder at any time? can you be more descriptive with the sound? like metal on metal click? or more of a clunk? know what I mean?

the noise has the same sound with transmission noise when gear is shifted. It happens either left or right turn. Sound more like "TICK TICK TICK.."

wiggle the wheel back and forth with engine off. is the noise still there?
