Dealer say NO go on iPod AUX

Hello all - just got my ride 2 days ago...and i am still in PIMP mode. really happy about the car. I use my ipod alot and all dealers that i called said there is no way to install the auxiliary if you have both the premium (DSP) sound along with the GPS. and i searched almost all the threads and you guys say its possible. is it? thanks in advance!

The dealer is correct if you are talking about the BMW iPodYourBMW kit. But not true if you get the Dension IceLink Plus. It's a better setup anyway

Aux input is a different issue, and Aux can be installed on any X5 (with or without DSP) as long as you have a radio module that is a 2003 or newer.

:welcome: to X5world!! Let the mods begin

They have no idea what they are talking about. There is no relationship between the gps and aux.

Not true

I have an '05 X5 with nav, premium sound, and the 6-disk changer. I had the aux installed in mine. I also had an '04 with the same options and had aux in that one. You can't get the ipod link but I just put the ipod in the glove box and I bought the airclick rf remote and it works fine.

They are wrong. I have it in my 2005 X5.
