No, it's not as good looking as the M wheels, but if it has all the same dimensions, I'm not sure it would be worth it to me to make the switch. Anyone know the answer or should we take some measurements and post the results?
I'm pretty sure it's the same exact wheel, minus the tri-color stitching and the M logo... and the button configuration is slightly different. When I first read the DIY section on this forum, I thought I might be interested in an M3 SMG wheel, but now I think I'm content with the '05 sport wheel.
But if I had the skinny wheel, I'd go for the M wheel ASAP!!

Nothing wrong with that deal. Crevier will sell them new for $325.00 plus shipping. I just ordered a new one to replace a used one I bought on auction. The used one is in excellent condition, but I decided I wanted the colored stitching. This mod thing is addictive isnt it. You will love the new wheel.

Make sure you disconnect the battery before you try do the wheel replacement. Also getting the old airbag off is a little tricky.

I used these instructions: http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...rticle&artid=7

It helped but it is still a little bit of a challenge. Steady hands and patience will make it work much easier.
