WeatherTech Window Deflectors

What is everyone's take on the Weathertech Window Deflectors?
I've yet to see any X5's w/ them?

I've got'em. It's nice to be able to leave the windows open a bit when it's raining or when it's hot out without other people knowing the windows are open.

very nice.....
are they the Dark version or the lightly tinted version?

also, in addition to window deflectors, what do u all think of sunroof deflectors?

I got the dark verison, smoke I think it's called. I'm not too fond of the sunroof deflectors as they seemed to take up most of the sunroof in other cars, shouldn't be a problem in an X with pano though. I was thinking about trying one of the slime sunroof deflectors but haven't taken the plunge yet....

i've been going back and forth about the window deflectors. i put them on my old vehicle and was quite happy w/ them. i might have to take the plunge and dive in head first. thanks for the pic.

don't have any pics, but i have both the wind deflector for the sunroof and the BMW window deflectors. They look pretty good IMO.

I have a new sunroof deflector for a non-pano roof X5. If someone wants it, you can have it for free. Well, not quite free. You need to pay for shipping, and make a small donation to X5World. PM me if you are interested.

hey guys question, doesnt the fact that they go into the window channel make the tips of the windows scratch?

That's what I thought too, but no scratching. I heard it hit the first time I rolled the windows up as it pushed them completely in, nothing since.
