It's probably more complicated than a simple glue and pull but that's the idea. My buddy just started doing paintless dents. He's been a body man all his life and he said it's a little bit trickier and takes awhile to get used to. You will still need some special tools(suction leveler with screw puller).

As for the chemical, I am not sure but I think it was alcohol. Make sure to put polish and wax after bc it will probably dry out the coat.
