Should I paint my brake calipers?

I painted the calipers on both my sports cars years ago and they still look great. No sign of rust and very glossy. I say, go ahead.

What did you use to paint it? regular brake paint? I've been thinking of doing this as well. Or I was going to buy a new set of NHT calipers.

they upped the price since i last asked them - it was $373 for front and rear total for powder coated calipers!!! I guess i put them onto it.. @#@#)($!_

Don't feel so bad. I do not think they actually ever had them in stock when they were offered at the lower price. And it seems they do not even offer the 4.6is calipers.....

I used high temperature engine paint. Red on one car, black on the other.

I always get questions about how I painted the raised "MAZDA" lettering on the red calipers because it looks so clean. When I tell them that I just used a black permanent marker most people are amazed that it looks so good.
