Very Strange Electrical Problems

Hi All,
Have already asked Butundo in another thread how he resolved a similar problem. I have also searched the forums for an answer without much luck.
Problem:
2005 Diesel, 3 years old. No previous problems. Battery registers 15 volts on a multi-meter, battery indicator green, car starts, lights come on bright, so battery appears to be OK.
Started the car this morning, nothing at all on the instrument cluster, radio and nav not working, indicators flash outside but steady green on arrow inside, no reverse lights, air deflector for panoramic sunroof will not deploy, air-con blows warm but can control fan speed, memory seats work OK, all fuses checked OK.
Anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be? Got me stumped.
Car is still in warranty, just, but reluctant to take it to them due to previous bad experience and am hopeful that the X5 Forum will prevail.

Thanks in advance
Colin.
PS Have read through all of the FSR and dead battery posts with out much luck.

Just to follow up on my problem. Got an answer from Butundo (thank you). He fixed a similar problem by disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours. Did the same, and so far all is OK. Had to reset time and date, everything else as before.
Cheers,
Colin.
