BMW Assist/Bluetooth Combo?

My '04 X5 has BMW Assist/Premium Package/Etc all installed in it, if I was wanting to get a Bluetooth module to install, what are my options? I do NOT want to loose my BMW Assist capabilities. I assume after '04 (or even later in the year from my understanding) BMW came up with a way to allow BMW Assist and Bluetooth to coexist, what would I need to do this now and how much would it run me?

Thanks so much!!

Don't think it is possible on a 2004, use the search feature on the board and look for BT modules and 2004.

my dealer said there was a way to install bluetooth, would the dealer installed option therefore disable my BMW Assist? This seems to be counterintuitive..

My 06 has both but I dont know how to install the bluetooth if you dont have
it. My Magellan GPS has Blue tooth so cars that dont have BT can now have it.
Here is what I dont understand!! BMW Assist can call you and you can call them withOUT a Cell phone so all the circutry is there for you to be able to call anyone. . SO WHY do you have to another phone to call out?? WHy can they just use whats in there. Redundant to me. Seems like.
Its like having a 380 hp starter motor to start the car when you could use
it to RUN the car also

Bad analogy but you get what I mean.
