NOVAX5 is on a distinguished road
for what purpose? cosmetic? functionality? skip it if you want to use it as a regular stepping board. and one more thing, this thing cost you around $320 + $70 shipping close to $400 while dealer sells you the real thing with archs and installation kit for $517. buy at dealer and you can either DYI or get a local indy shop to install it for $50. thats what i did. so with about $150 more you can have the real thing that has both look and functionality.

Nope...running boards (aluminum or rubber) are a dealer add-on accessory for all e53s. It's a factory option on the e70s.

Note: most people think the standard black plastic trim under the doors are running boards, which they are NOT. Step on those and there goes your plastic trims!

hmmm, where did you get this notion?

i got mine from bmw morristown, OEM running boards, $ 500 and change...

Ummm, there was a whole other thread about these and many members bought them, including me. I've had nothing but compliments from my friends about them and I think they look great. And they are functional as well.
