Arrow Door locks

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if in the bmw x5 you can prgram the door locks to lock when you start to drive off. I remeber reading this somewhere but I can't remeber where. So if anyone knows if this is possible and how to do it could they please tell me.

thanks

I don't think that model has that feature so it will probably not be in the manual (which is an answer in itself?)...

Yes, my 2005 X5 automatically locks after getting rolling. I am sure it is an easy programming option by the dealer.

...we have that "feature", which I don't prefer, on our old '01...
surely the OP's '05 has that feature available, too.

As Zulu noted, it's a pre-del program deal or, a post del
Stlr program deal...

To answer your next question: No, the doors cannot automatically unlock once you put it into P or turn off the ignition, like some cars. So if you choose to auto-lock, you will have to manually unlock each and everytime you exceed 10 km/h and want to get out afterwards.
