It CAN be done. BMW offers a retrofit kit for E46's that includes the necessary harness but it is a labor intensive job. I'm sure it's similar on an E53.
Unless you find some good deals on ebay, expect to pay $4000+. EAS sells the components and OEM stuff is pricey when new... really makes the aftermarket alternatives seem much more appealing at that point. |
