Kevin,
The entire bumper has to come off which means one must disconnect the park distance control wire so the bumper will come off. I found the connector before your reply. Others that have done the hitch install said the connector was on the left, that was throwing me. I now have everything off that needs to come off and am about to begin the install. Pete

Job is done and roughly $500 I didn't have to give the dealer. Instructions from previous hitch installers were correct except for the location of the park distance control connector. Mine was on the right and theirs was on the left. It took every bit of 7 hours to do what with all the unbolting then putting it all back together. Of course the 55 TORX bolts were a pain but I found some the plastic rivits to be as bad.
