Question Regarding Suspension Light

On Sat evening after parking in a public garage on on an incline, I noticed that a warning light came on and has stayed on: Selflevel Suspension Inactive. Is there a fix I can do myself or does it have to go to the stealer. I don't notice any difference in ride. Thank's for any help!

I had that occur...most likely your X5 just needs reprogramming. Search the forums..many people have had this problem.

Thank's for the reply 4.6IS........... I stopped by the dealer and made an appointment. Evidently they have to put in a new module(it's under warranty). I notice that the car is a lot stiffer, so this module must affect the dampeners some how. Thank's again..........
