Just bought a 03 46is with 60k and thinking about having the timing chain replaced...Any thoughts? It is covered in most if any extended warranty? I have Warrantech

I don't think you need to replace the timing chain at 60k miles !!!!

Do you have a reason for replacing the timing chain? Is your cam timing off due to a stretched chain?

I have no reason to think the timing chain is bad...I have looked at some of the threads and some sugest chaing it at 60k
What should be done at 60k if any thing but a good inspection?

Timing chains aren't typically a wear item. Change the brake fluid, coolant, trans fluid+filter, diff fluids, transfer case fluid.

Timing chains are very robust usually lasting the life of the engine. Do not be confused with some cars using timing belts that need changing at service intervals.
