Thumbs up Thanks!

All,

Just wanted to say thanks--This site has been absolutely awesome with the wealth of knowledge that folks share here.

I just picked up my '04 X5 4.4i w/ 24k last month, and have used this site to upgrade the Nav firmware, get my window trim changed under warranty, find a Bluetooth upgrade module for the old phone cradle so I can pair any phone now, and the list goes on.

Needless to say, I really appreciate all who contribute and close the loop w/ solutions to their problems. Keep up the good work--I couldn't have done it without ya!

Talking INDEED

I too am a new member, I have owned my X for a few years now, however I was stationed in Germany and didnt have the time or the resources while I was there to do all the wonderful things to the X that I KNEW she wanted. So as soon as I was moved back to the States it was on!! with out this site I feel that I would have been lost with several small projects that I have undergone, also there is such great knowledge here from getting the best price from dealers and distributers across the nation. Not to mention all the knowledge and expirence several of you have contributed to helping us "not so mechanically inclined" people with simple and complex DIY tips and secrets as well as just some good old sound advise...... or well recieved and thought out opinions for that matter!!! " So here's to you X5 world guy" keep'em coming!!

(I know its a sin to not have a pic of my vic in here, but I am waiting to put my summer shoes on her before she makes her debut....)

Don't worry, I'll post them soon as I get get a good wash and wax done so it doesn't look like I've been racing on the Bonneville salt flat.

Talking Finally...

Got the time and weather to clean my (fairly) new ride. It's spent some time in the shop over the last few weeks fixing issues that the dealer (Pittsburgh) should have handled previously before delivery--Don't know how they got away with calling it CPO.

My dealer here has done great at getting everything back on speed. I won't bore you with the details, but luckily I've got a few more months to wring out any issues before it switches to the CPO warranty.

Here you go as promised...have some nice side shots but size here won't allow me to upload.

Thanks again to all who contribute!
