SES & fault codes
Will this autoscanner list the error codes? (which are also listed in the articles section)  Picked up my X5 Mon PM  after dlr finished the Dinan S2, the window regulator, hitch, wind deflectors, secured the CD changer, and gave it an overall checkup which resulted in the replaced hoses talked about on other threads, a faulty final stage (fan as it was not turning off with the ignition), new wipers, and replaced/repaired acouple bulbs that were out or intermittant. A thorough going over.  Drove it for about 5 times on short errands (max speed 40mph) The 6th resulted in the SES light.  This really bummed me out as I HAD planned to be on the road at 6:30AM to begin my trip to Vegas.  Now I have to wait and find out what's happening.

If you use the same scanner that I used (Actron), then it should display the codes and you can cross reference them to this listing - http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...icle&artid=148

fuel mixture too rich at idle
- 2hrs and still waiting to get thru to Dinan to find out how to correct  - May end up in the GMC van for this trip. :p Gosh,Darn,Dickens as my grandfather used to say.
