SES & fault codes
1st) read your SES article UCrewX5 and will p/u an autoscanner in AM
Will this autoscanner list the error codes? (which are also listed in the articles section)  Picked up my X5 Mon PM  after dlr finished the Dinan S2, the window regulator, hitch, wind deflectors, secured the CD changer, and gave it an overall checkup which resulted in the replaced hoses talked about on other threads, a faulty final stage (fan as it was not turning off with the ignition), new wipers, and replaced/repaired acouple bulbs that were out or intermittant. A thorough going over.  Drove it for about 5 times on short errands (max speed 40mph) The 6th resulted in the SES light.  This really bummed me out as I HAD planned to be on the road at 6:30AM to begin my trip to Vegas.  Now I have to wait and find out what's happening.
