Vibrating....

Hello everyone,
I'm driving a 3.0d E53 so since a month i have a problem..
The steering wheel is "vibrating" while im steering it when the car is not moving... Actually it happens when i have to park it and steer the wheel too much at one direction when the car is at one place... I feel the tires ,moving on the ground, at the wheel... There is also a vibrating noise. The dealer told me that the problem is:
1. the STEERING STRIP is at the end of its life and i should drive the car until the steering wheel stops moving
2. the HYDRAULIC pump is not working properly

I went to another auto-service ... the mechanic told me that there are no such problems and the vibrating comes from the front suspension...

Now i expect some advices, please

Yes it is so..., it starts vibrating when the car is idle and I begin to steer the wheel maximum left or right...not when it is fully turned.

You say normal...... any1 has the same thing too ?

OMG, this thing continues making me angry....
The Front suspension is perfect and I still hear a banging noise, coming from front left side, from time to time when driving off-road. The steering wheel is still making the same "Grr-r-r-r-" when i have to park the car and have to steer when car's not moving....
Can't believe that this thing is normaL

The "Grr-r-r-r--r vibrating" noise from steering wheel appears almost every time when car is idle or moving very very slow...no matter if engine is hot, cold etc.... It seems like the front tires cannot overcome the rubbing with the ground...I think this problem was bigger when i had the very new winter tires... Now i have M. Diamaris at end of their lives and I feel this thing happens not so often.... But maybe Im wrong and there is another mechanic problem.

Someone told me that the banging noise could be from a broken steering strip... associating that with the steering-wheel's vibrating...
I had a MB ML270 cd an year before and there was also a broken steering strip. In that case there was a big hydraulic oil leak.. I had to feel it up every 2 weeks. Now there's no such thing.

A simple check would be to make sure your power steering resivoir is full and your accessory belt to the power steering pump is not slipping. The high pressure hose from the steering pump is a knowm problem, you may be losing fluid. Good luck
