Cargo Cover - Faulty

I took my rear cargo cover out and stood it up on its side for about a week in the garage.

Anyway when i put the cargo cover back in the X5 the cover has lost its spring back. I.e. it doesnt pull back and therefore it just flops! Really annoying!

Anyone had anything similar go wroung with theirs? Is it a common problem?
I guess this is covered by the 5 year warranty pack? or is it worth a cheeky try! ha

Thanks

you need to squeeze the both end of the cover together and place it back into the slots, now it shuold move smoothly

i'd just take the guess work out of it and have the dealer replace it. it certainly wasnt your fault for the failure. chalk it up for manufacturing defect

Took it back to the stealer and they replaced it no questions asked! The car is still just in side of the 3 year warranty pack that i took out!
